“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, the most frightens us.” – Marianne Williamson

Really? Hmmm… I’m not so sure.

What would it look like if I really fulfilled all of my potential? What would I be accountable for if I fully accepted my gifts and my obligation to share them?

If I embraced my “light” what would I have to give up?

I might have to give up blaming others for my inability to have the life I want. I might find that others feel insecure around me. I might have to accept the power I have to change things.  I might be overwhelmed.

And holding onto the darkness?

I can blame others. I can succumb to the fear that is peddled to me all day long. I can buy things that make me feel better. I can deny that I’m accountable for my own life.

…She may have a point!
