If we’re the most prepared, have the best data and make the best arguments, we will win. That’s what we think.

What if… instead of thinking about how we can “win” with our arguments, plans, data and points of view… we imagine that winning means arriving at the best solution, the most sustainable path, the most innovative approach or the most powerful shared vision?

What if “victory” is found not made?

What if we imagine ourselves as treasure hunters working together to find victory? And what if we acknowledge that each of us owns a critical part of the map?

How would that change our point of view? How would it change how we approach dialogue and decision making?

Victory is out there… waiting to be discovered.

But it will only be found if we let go of winning and acknowledge that we all have a piece of the map.
